Who We Are

Supporting Tennessee’s Rural Affordable Housing Industry

The Tennessee Association of Affordable Housing (TAAH) is a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to serving professionals in the rural affordable housing sector. Our mission is to ensure that all individuals have access to safe, well-managed, and affordable housing. Through collaboration and advocacy, TAAH’s board members work closely with representatives in Washington, D.C., to address key issues facing affordable housing programs. We proudly serve all management companies and properties that have a presence or interest in the state of Tennessee. As an affiliated member of the National Council for Affordable Rural Housing (CARH), we are committed to advancing the rural affordable housing landscape both locally and nationally.

Our Goals

  • TAAH works to represent and advocate for affordable housing programs at both the state and federal levels, partnering with lawmakers and stakeholders to address key issues impacting affordable housing policies.

  • The organization provides training, resources, and networking opportunities to professionals in the affordable housing industry, helping to enhance knowledge and skills related to housing management and operations.

  • TAAH aims to foster collaboration between housing professionals, government agencies, and other stakeholders to improve the quality and availability of affordable housing options in Tennessee.

  • The association serves all management companies and properties throughout the southeast, offering guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to maintain high standards of affordable housing.
